Merrell and Jennifer Henry

Bro. Merrell Henry became the minister of youth at Macedonia Baptist Church in October 2003.  He is from Arcadia, Florida.  Bro. Merrell surrendered to ministry in 1996.  He was licensed in 2002 by Maple Avenue Baptist Church, Geneva, AL.  He was ordained to the gospel ministry in May of 2008 by Macedonia Baptist Church.  Bro. Merrell has previously served as the minister of students at Webb Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Coffee Springs and Maple Avenue Baptist Church.

Bro. Merrell is a 1996 graduate of DeSoto County High School in Arcadia, FL.  He has attended Baptist College of Florida and  EOCC.  Merrell is pursuing a degree in ministry.

Bro. Merrell is married to the former Jennifer Barnes of Dothan, AL.  They have one child, Sarabeth Lynn Henry.  She was born in March of 2007.

Merrell's favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fearfulness; but one of power, and of love, and of a sound judgement." HCSB

Merrell is an avid sports fan.  He enjoys reading and collecting sports cards.  He had just finished reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan and highly recommends it!
