LifeWay Bible study curriculum, Bible Teaching for Kids is developed around a balanced treatment of 15 biblical concepts. Preschool materials cover eight of these concepts: God, Jesus, Bible, Creation, Family, Self, Church & Kingdom, and Community and World. These are the foundational building blocks of a biblical literacy, and biblical worldview, and—more importantly—a life of faith. 

Skilled preschool teachers use Bible pictures and Bible thoughts and verses at appropriate times. This may be the primary “teaching” done by leaders with babies and ones. It’s not uncommon to hear a newborn teacher saying a Bible verse or singing a biblical song while changing a diaper, laying a foundation in the life of that child that assures her that church is safe and fun place where loving people care about you!
