As we continue to receive our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, let’s pray about what the Lord would have us to give. Our church goal is $5,000. We will have our Sunday School classes bring their offerings on December 31. Our Sunday School class goal is $2,290.00. We need to out give our class goals to reach the church goal. Let’s always remember that we can never out give our Lord.

Youth Christmas Drama

The youth will present “Wings of Christmas”, a Christmas drama, this Sunday from 9:45AM – 10:45AM. Thank you to all of the youth and adults who have worked together to make this happen. The morning worship will follow the drama.

Sunday Services, December 10

There will be no Sunday School because of the Christmas Drama

Sunday Morning Worship Services will be at 11:00 AM

There will be no Evening Services because of Live Nativity.

There will be no Wednesday Services because of Live Nativity.

Live Nativity

Sign-up for a character in the live Nativity December 10-13. Sign up early while there are slots available. The sign-up list is on the wall in the foyer.

December 2 Workday

The Live Nativity is up and ready, the Sanctuary is decorated, leaves have been raked, and new lines have been painted on the parking lot in front of the church. Thanks to all of those that worked to make it all possible.

Children’s Cantata

The Children’s Choir and the Preschool Choir did a wonderful job during the Children’s Christmas Cantata. Thank you parents for allowing your children to take part and thank you children for working so hard on the musical. Thanks to those who helped make costumes and to Michelle Carr for directing and to Assistant Director Alesha Blevins.

Children’s Home Cake Ministry

We prepared and delivered 33 cakes to the Associational Office for the Children’s Home. Thank you to all who made this ministry possible.

Poinsettias

If you would like to order a live Poinsettia for the sanctuary this Christmas season, they are $4.30 each. There is a sign-up sheet outside the church office, please put how many you want and in honor or memory of….

Grow Team for Week:

The Grow Team for December 5 is the Green Team headed by Nick Nichols. Be in prayer for this team as they contact people this week. If you are not on a Grow Ministry Team and can participate, please contact Richie Carr.

Sanctary Flowers

If you wish to provide fresh flowers for the sanctuary on Sundays, please sign up for the week you desire on the list by the Secretary’s Office. Thank you for providing such beautiful flowers.

Awana Ministry and Wednesday Family Supper

There will be no AWANA nor Wednesday Family Supper until January 3, 2007.

Adult Cantata Coming

The Adult Christmas Cantata is December 17 during the Morning Worship Service. Mark your calendars.
