As we continue to receive our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, let’s pray about what the Lord would have us to give. Our church goal is $5,000. We will have our Sunday School classes bring their offerings on December 31. Our Sunday School class goal is $2,290.00. We need to out give our class goals to reach the church goal. Let’s always remember that we can never out give our Lord.

Youth Christmas Drama

Thank you all of those involved in the Youth Christmas Drama. There were a total of 112 present for the presentation. Thank you for a great job and for supporting this ministry of our church.

Live Nativity

Thank you for those who worked to make the Live Nativity a success. Thanks to all who planned, prepared, brought refreshments, and took part as a character. This was the 39^th year of the Live Nativity at Macedonia. Thanks for allowing those around us and coming by for the Live Nativity to share a bit of the Macedonia experience through you.

Children’s Home Cake Ministry

We prepared and delivered 33 cakes to the Associational Office for the Children’s Home. Thank you to all who made this ministry possible.

Grow Team for Week:

The Grow Team for December 19 is the Orange Team headed by Glenn Filipowski. Be in prayer for this team as they contact people this week. If you are not on a Grow Ministry Team and can participate, please contact Richie Carr.

Sanctuary Flowers

If you wish to provide fresh flowers for the sanctuary on Sundays, please sign up for the week you desire on the list by the Secretary’s Office. Thank you for providing such beautiful flowers.

AWANA Ministry and Wednesday Family Supper

There will be no AWANA or Wednesday Family Supper until January 3, 2007.

Adult Cantata Coming

The Adult Christmas Cantata will be presented during the Morning Worship Service this Sunday. Please plan to attend.

Christmas Caroling

We will go Christmas caroling on Wednesday, December 20, at 6:00 PM. Please come and help as we share the joy of Christmas to those who cannot get out. We will return to the Church for hot chocolate after caroling.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Richie Carr. He completed all of his course work for his degree in Accounting from Troy State Dothan. He will graduate in May 07.

Business Meeting

During our business meeting this Sunday, we will vote on next year’s budget. Please plan to attend for this very important vote. The proposed budget is an increase of $159.03 per week over the current budget. A copy of the proposed budget and explanations is being attached to this E-News.
