Ministry in Action
In the aftermath of last week’s tornado, many in the church have gone out to help families recover by helping to clean up damage. Thanks to all those who took action and ministered in the name of our Lord.
 
Grow Team for Week
March 13, 2007 is the 2nd Tuesday night and the red team with Captain Nick Nichols will minister through the Outreach Ministry.

Annie Armstrong Offering
Today begins the "Week Of Prayer For North American Missions" and the "Annie ArmstrongEaster Offering".  Please use the prayer guides located in the foyer to guide your prayers for our missionaries and pray about your gift to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering -- 100 percent of which supports North American missionaries and their missions.  Our church wide goal is $2300.00.  Our gifts to date are $170.00.
 
Our guest speaker in the morning worship this Sunday will be James Taylor and his fiance', Hilary Davis.  James and Hilary will begin their assignment as a missionaries with the North American Mission Board this coming June.  James will speak about his mission and how the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering supports NAMB missionaries, and Hilary will be bringing our special music.  Please plan to attend and see how our prayers and support are put into action for home missions. 
 
Wednesday Family Supper
Wednesday Family Supper is from 5:30 – 6:00PM. The meal for this week is Sloppy Joes. 
 
AWANA Scholarships
Please do not forget that you may provide an AWANA scholarship for the AWANA program. If you have questions, Ervin Terry.
 
Sanctuary Flowers
If you wish to provide fresh flowers for the sanctuary on Sundays, please sign up for the week you desire on the list by the Secretary’s Office. Thank you for providing such beautiful flowers.
 
Ladies Meeting
There will be a Ladies Meeting on Saturday, March 10 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM. The theme is Cleaning Up Our Personal Junk, Dealing With the Past. Each lady is asked to bring one item of clutter from home that they would like to get rid of and bring your favorite junk food to share.
 
Youth Summer Camp Chaperone
We are in need of a female chaperone to go on the youth summer camp with the youth of the church. If you can assist with this, please see Merrell Henry.
 
Easter Sunrise Service
The church council will recommend to the church at the next business meeting that we have Easter Sunrise Service again this year. The church will vote on having this service or not. 
 
Daylight Savings Time
Daylight savings times begins on March 11 this year. Don’t forget to change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday evening.
 
 
Those in hospital
Leona Bass in the Enterprise Nursing Home on the 6th hall for rehab. If you get a chance, drop by and see her.
