Special Called Business Meeting There will be Special Called Business Meetings on Sunday, November 25 for the following purposes: 1. To elect a female replacement for Donna Filipowski on the Pastor Search Committee. 2. To vote to call Ricky Davis as Music Director.
Lottie Moon Offering The Lottie Moon Offering Goal is $3,500. Our offering through last Sunday was $968.28.
GA’s Emergency Room Project Please remember to help our GA’s during the month of November with this project by picking up a flyer from the foyer and supplying some of the items we need for our ER care packages. If you need more information please see Cathy Davis.
Poinsettias for Christmas
If you would like to order a poinsettia to help decorate the sanctuary for Christmas, please put your name and other information on the sign-up sheet on the table in front of the secretary’s office.
Decorate the Sanctuary
For Christmas on Saturday, December 1st, from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. We need two men to put up the tree and someone else will decorate it. We need one person to hang greens on windows, this requires ladder climbing and we need three people to trim the tree. Please let Lorelei Dalton, Maria Evans, or Marvin Abercrombie know if you can help. Thanks
Live Nativity We need men to volunteer to help set up the Live Nativity backdrop on Saturday, December 1. We also need someone to volunteer to put up the Christmas Tree in the Fellowship Hall and someone to decorate it. Please contact Ken Shoemake, Bobbie Abercrombie, Elmer McLean, or Jody Moore if you can help.
Ladies Weekday Bible Study A Ladies Weekday Bible Study is now being held on Mondays from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. See Barbara Westerbeck for more info.
Nursery and Preschool Workers We are in need of workers for Extended Care and Sunday School. If you feel led to one of these openings, contact Alesha Blevins.
Sanctuary Flowers If you wish to provide fresh flowers for the sanctuary on Sundays, please sign up for the week you desire on the list by the Secretary’s Office. Thank you for providing such beautiful flowers.
Pathway Christmas Tree Circle of Friends - would like to make everyone aware of the Pathway Christmas Tree on the table in front of the Sunday School office. Pathway is a wilderness treatment center for troubled boys and each year Circle of Friends sponsors some of their Christmas gifts. Please pray and ask the Lord about helping one of these young men to feel the love of Christ on the occasion of His birth. Take a number and find the corresponding envelope with the child’s desired gifts. See Hilda Nichols for more information.
Baby Shower for Michelle Carr You are invited – to a “Come and Go Baby Shower” for Michelle Carr on November 24th from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the home of Alesha Blevins, 217 Yellowleaf, Enterprise.
