Pre-School Egg Hunt
March 15, at Ricky & Cathy Davis’ home. Children will need to bring their Easter baskets and lunch will be provided. See Cathy Davis for times.
 
All American Dinner
The GAs – will be learning about Annie Armstrong this month. They will learn that she grew up in the port city of Baltimore, where immigrants were first introduced to “all American” foods such as hot dogs. The GAs and Ras will be hosting an “All American” dinner of hot dogs and apple pie after this month’s fifth Sunday Night Sing. Donations from the dinner will go directly to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, for North American missions. We are looking forward to everyone joining us.
 
Bridal Shower
 There will be a bridal shower for Mendy Pickle at Clara Bradford’s home, 92 Lowe Drive, Enterprise, on March 16, from 2 – 3:30 P.M. Mendy is marrying Ben McAllie and they are registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Walmart. All ladies are invited to attend.
 
Baby Shower Box
There is a baby shower box for Bryan & Kellie Lunsford of Atlanta (Leroy’s Grandson, Lee & Kathy’s son) is located on the table outside the church office if you would like us to send your gift to them.   They are having a little girl.

Ladies Wednesday Night Bible Study
The Ladies Wednesday Night Bible Study is held at 6:30. The title of this study is “Prepare Your Heart for Easter” No book is necessary. Barbara Westerbeck will be teaching eight lessons from this study that will lead us right up to Easter. We will examine the lives of women who intersected the life of Jesus.   We will also learn the significance of Palm Sunday, the Lord’s Supper, Good Friday, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost, plus a whole lot more. Make your plans to be with us.
 
Pastor Search Committee
Continue to pray for our Pastor Search Committee. Let them know that we are supporting them in all that they are doing. They have a very large task and need our prayers and support.

 March 9, Daylight Savings Time begins. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward on March 8th before you go to bed, so you will be on time next Sunday. 
 
Special Called Business Meeting
There will be a special called business meeting this Sunday, March 9th for the purpose of considering Merrell Henry as a candidate for ordination.  
 
Finance Committee Meeting Change
The Finance Committee will meet March 12th after prayer meeting at 7:30 P.M. instead of March 16th. Please make this change on your calendar.
 
January Bible Study 2008
 On Sunday evening, January 27, 2008, the Adult discipleship training class began an eight-week study of the book of Romans.  All adults are invited to participate.  If you are interested in studying about God's amazing grace and would like a student's guide, please fill out the book request located in the bulletin and put it in the offering plate.  Once we've determined the number of books required, everyone will be told how much the guides will cost.
 
 
Ladies Weekday Bible Study
A Ladies Weekday Bible Study is now being held on Mondays from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. See Barbara Westerbeck for more info.
