Graduation Sunday - May 18

We will honor our high school seniors in the morning worship service. They are: Andrew Davis, Beth Kennedy, Chelsea Madkins & Young-Kook Matsunaga. We would also like to congratulate Kelly Jerrell on his graduation from UAB.

Deacon Nominations

Deacon nominations will be held at this month’s regular business meeting on May 18. Pray for the church about this decision.

Mission to Hungary

Justin Filipowski is going to Hungary with South East Baptist Theological Seminary and needs your financial support. If you would like to know more about his trip check out the bulletin board outside the pastor’s office. There are envelopes if you would like to help him with your monetary gifts and you should make your check out to Macedonia Baptist Church, write for Justin on the envelope.

Vacation Bible School Prayer Commitment

If you would like to be in prayer for our VBS during the month of May, please pick up one of the Prayer Calendars in the foyer. These calendars give you specific things to pray for each day and will help to under gird our leaders, teachers and children. Thanks for your support!

New Church Sign

A designated account has been established for a new church sign. If you wish to give, designate the gift as church sign.

Youth Camp

Youth Camp will be - from July 21 – 25, 2008 instead of July 14 – 18, 2008. Please check with Merrell for the details.

Church Calendar

Committee Chairpersons – we will soon be getting our 2008 – 2009 calendar year completed and we need your help. Richie Carr would like you to turn in to him, your proposed calendar dates for your committee from June 2008 to June 2009, by May 17th. Then on May 31st all committee chairpersons will meet to finalize the church calendar. This is very important so please give it your top priority. If you have any questions please see Richie Carr.

Pastor Search Committee

Continue to pray for our Pastor Search Committee. Let them know that we are supporting them in all that they are doing. They have a very large task and need our prayers and support.
